Beschreibung
In Fire & Stone, players lead their tribe of early humans from the African cradle of humanity out into the world. They explore new regions with their scouts, hunt, harvest nuts, mushrooms, apples and root vegetables and finally build villages. Whoever leads the most successful tribe through the Stone Age by expansion and development will win this game by successful author Klaus-Jürgen Wrede (Carcassonne). Inventions of new tools and techniques such as shipbuilding or pottery help to accelerate progress.
Each field that the scouts can enter contains flipped discovery tiles. The first time a scout moves onto one of these tiles, they are flipped over and trigger an effect. From then on, these tiles can be used as a player action with a different effect. At the end of the game, the winner is the player who was able to fulfill lucrative task cards and build cleverly positioned huts. Due to a random construction, every game develops differently and a mysterious cave brings an additional little trick to the game every time.
